3 miles on this (chilly) glorious spring morning. I’m so thankful for all the beautiful natural spaces around me like 98 acre Mount Hope Cemetery right in the middle of the city.

Magical Kirkjufell ("Church Mountain") is a 463 m high hill on the north coast of Iceland's Snæfellsnes peninsula.
It’s claimed to be the most photographed mountain in the country and was one of the filming locations for Game of Thrones season 6 and 7.
It was so cold!

It’s better to teach people than to scare them. If you scare them and nothing happens, they lose their fear, and you lose some of your authority with them. It’s harder to scare them the second time, harder to teach them, harder to win back their trust. Best to begin by teaching.

Happiness has never been a personal goal. I've sought truth and enlightenment since age 13, advancing thru layers of hell, somehow managing to walk out the other side.
Now from a distance, I see those experiences as opportunities to release unhealthy expectations, which oddly has led to happiness.

My adventure wife and I took advantage of some unseasonably warm weather just before the election, and met up at a lovely peaceful Hipcamp near Watkins Glen, NY. The plan was to hike, but we did far more talking than walking. I love that I can keep my 4Runner packed and ready to roll.
