Late post, but these were February's reads.
I bought Amanda Gorman's book after her poem at Bifen's inauguration. I enjoyed it, though it was pandmic-heavy in content and I wasn't ready to be put back in the headspace of being sick with covid for 6 weeks in isolation. 4/5

I couldn't let Ziggy go without a buddy for very long. He's been sad and needy, so when he took a quick liking to a sweet 2 year old shepherd mix in need of a forever home, there was no other decision to be made. Meet Eddie (named for his resemblance to Eddie Munster) ❤️

Goodbye, sweet Mazikeen. We didn't even get four years with you, but you were the best girl. I'm so glad we got to be your soft landing, and I'm so sorry you didn't get to enjoy the several more years of love that you deserved. 💔

Missing the cottage, but it's not habitable in the winter. I guess I could walk across the lake with all my stuff and deal with no water but we don't have a way to heat in this cold. Was already hard to stay warm on my last trip in October.
