Side story of Lost in Fiction. (Haikavetham)

Sethoscara Side story to Lost in Fiction His touch was faint, light even. A pinky moving astray? Surely not! I reprimanded myself. I jerked my hand away, sending him a death glare, but the guy was focused on the board, not really paying attention to me. I brushed it off as an accident. Why is beyond me. By the next time it happened, I didn't move away and… my heartbeat quickened because those fingers set my skin alight. The touch was soft. A finger wrapped over mine at first. Then two, and when I but held my breath in anticipation, Sethos' palm embraced mine fully. A steady beat pulsed against my skin. Warmth seeped into my cold flesh. It was maddening, but the sensation felt too good to pull away. I'm aware that this was a mistake. But I've done plenty of those before. How bad can another one be? Apparently very. I only realized the severity of it all after I pushed him against a wall. Too mad, too desperate after he had rubbed me the wrong way yet again. His eyes lit up, the emerald greens sparking with life and excitement. His damn lips curved up into a half smile before he uttered, 'Careful, I might kiss you.' I hated him for saying that. He knew all too well I couldn't back down to a challenge like that. 'I'm the one doing the kissing,' I spat before I launched myself at him, and our lips collided. I should not have done that, for the taste that I got was sweeter than the damn honey water he always gifted me. It was maddening. I was mad for doing this, for enjoying it. For wanting more, and when he opened his mouth and pulled me tight, my fucking knees buckled. I, Scaramouche, was unable to stand my ground. I'm as good as dead now.

Save a saurian, ride a vet instead - Ifaron, Cynari fanfic teaser 03 Ifa looked Ororon over worriedly. It wasn't that he didn't find Ororon attractive, quite the opposite actually. But he wasn't sure this was what his bro wanted—wanted in that way. "Ororon.." Ifa whispered, his breath ghosting over Ororon's cheek like the tender touch of a lover, making him shiver. Ororon's mouth was slightly open, breathing fast and shallow, a clear sign of discomfort. "Listen to me for a second. I need you to answer a few questions for me. Can you do that?" Ifa asked, deeply concerned by the situation. It took a moment, but Ororon's eyes finally focused on his friend, followed by a slow nod. "Alright. Who is the chief of the Masters of the Night-Wind?" "Biram?" he said after a long pause. "Good. And what's the name of the baby saurian that helps me in the clinic?" Ororon's brow furrowed. "Cacucu?" Satisfied, Ifa smiled. "Are you sure you're ok with this? With me touching you…? To… feel me in that way?" His eyes searched Ororon's heterochromic irises for something that was not yearning—something that would signal him a clear yes. No confusion, but certainty. He needed his friend's consent. To Ifa's surprise, Ororon didn't nod right away. He was thinking—trying to push through the waves of arousal, which seemingly crashed against his mind constantly. Blurring his thinking, dulling common sense and judgment. Slowly, Ororon lifted a hand, almost shaking yet deliberate. It reached for Ifa's cheek, caressed him, felt him. In this moment, his seemingly lucid mind took control. He leaned forward only to halt inches away from Ifa's lips. "Yes." Ororon's hot breath fanned against Ifa's mouth, voice low and trembling. "I wouldn't want anyone but you."

Nightcalls - Wriolette Dark Fantasy Fanfic Chapter 01 Wriothesley stares at the mansion that greets him with an eerie silence. It’s a fair distance from the dainty village he had stayed at for the last two days. Truth be told, he’s confused about the big garden and the size of the building. His client has been scarce with information, and given the lack of coins, he assumed the house would be negligible. A middle-class home. Wriothesley puts his gear on one of the fancy dressers facing the window. The wind blows softly through the little shrubs that outline the garden, wrapping the scenery into an artificial idyllic picture. He recalls what his client has said: scratchings at night, strange noises from the attic, violet eyes that stare into your soul. A job for a hunter. Wriothesley’s grip tightens around the silver gauntlet in his bag. He has a lot to prepare before nightfall.

Save a saurian, ride a vet instead - Ifaron, Cynari fanfic teaser 01 Ororon stared at the green mushroom in front of him. It looked like the ones he’d seen on a scroll about the Collective of Plenty. Granny had told him the story about the self-proclaimed Sage-Lord of Fungi and his subordinates and how important it was to get rid of them. Of course, they were now in Sumeru, the origin of the said Fungi God’s legend, but Ororon would not be Granny Itzli's favorite student (she’d definitely deny that) if he didn't heed the advice of their ancestors. And right now they said “This mushroom has to be taken care of”. Determination swelled in Ororon's chest. I can do this! Ifa had been but a mere observer of Ororon‘s unusual actions so far. Now, his brows furrowed in thought. "Bro, are you trying to brawl with that mushroom? Is it insulting you?" he joked as Ororon took one last look at the menacing shroom before turning around to his best friend. "Look at it, Bro. It’s clearly evil!" Narrowing his eyes, Ifa approached to take a closer look at the supposedly evil mushroom that dared threaten his mate. He huffed, blowing air in the direction of the wicked plant. "Vicious green. Very suspicious." Ororon raised his eyebrow. He could tell by the bright timbre of Ifa’s voice that he didn’t take him seriously. But that was okay. Ifa knew more about saurians than legends anyway. "Time to say goodbye," Ororon muttered, and soon after, a thunderbolt shot down from the sky, roasting the offspring of evil. Steam rose from the burnt remains as Ororon crouched to pick the now ‘mush’ plant up and bit into it. Strange, it tasted horrid. Caught off guard by Ororon’s sudden move, Ifa took a leap back. "What the heck, Bro?! Seriously? You could have just said that you’re hungry!" and burst out laughing at the ridiculous expression on his bro’s face. "Pretty awful taste, huh?" "It’s disgusting. But I guess that’s the taste of evil." Ororon grimaced, swallowing the rest of the mushroom, trying hard not to gag the wretched plant up again. The things I do for Natlan, he thought.

Genderswap Tuesdays WIP 02 - Haikavetham After their morning frenzy, the reality of his body change sank in again, leaving Kaveh agitated and uneasy. It was not that he did not like this new body and the thrilling sensation it brought with it. The problem was that he did not know what had brought this change upon him and whether or not it was permanent. As such, the uncertainty was killing him. "Let's go and see Tighnari then," Alhaitham suggested, seemingly unfazed by the whole scenario after Kaveh complained again over their late breakfast of Baghrir, Labneh, and Haleem.  "I don't know. What can Nari do about it? He's just going to claim it on some weird plant I accidentally ate and look at me like I'm an idiot." "Well…" "Don't you dare finish that sentence!" Kaveh snapped, pointing his spoon at Alhaitham. "But you're my idiot, so I don't see how that's an insult." Alhaitham chuckled and took a bite from Kaveh's Haleem that threatened to fall from his spoon, which he so lovingly directed at his boyfriend. "You are unbelievable! Shut up and eat your food, you insufferable brat!" They managed to end their morning meal on a semi-civil note and decided to give the House of Daena a go first. After all, it was Saturday, so they had plenty of time for research and the option to visit the Bimarstan on Sunday if their joint efforts proved fruitless.  Kaveh was trying to pick out the loosest and cleavage-free shirt he possessed, but soon realised that his wardrobe lacked humble clothing. Much to Alhaitham's amusement, who gleefully commented that, after all, 'Modesty was never Kaveh's strong suit.' That little fucker. Like Alhaitham wasn't flashing his man boobs for everyone to see in his ridiculously tight bodysuit! They decided on a shirt that left the back open but covered most of the front and draped his scarf so as not to immediately spill the noticeable change he had undergone. By the time they made it out of the door, a familiar face greeted them.

'Genderswap Tuesdays' is a short story about Kaveh waking up one day as a woman, and Alhaitham can't be bothered. It's an ode to Alhaitham being Kaveh-sexual.

Genderswap Tuesday. A Haikavetham story. WIP 01 Alhaitham drank his usual morning coffee, sitting on the divan in the living room. He enjoyed the mid-morning rays, trickling in through the window, warming his auburn skin. It was quiet… too quiet. Kaveh had not returned to their shared bedroom last night, which left only two possible conclusions. One – He was either working late on his newest project, falling asleep over his blueprints, or Two – he had too much to drink and didn’t want to bother him with his drunken antics, and therefore slept in his old room. Whatever it was, Alhaitham didn’t mind… but Kaveh was Kaveh – stubborn by default. A scream disturbed the serene morning scenery, followed by a string of colorful swearwords that made Alhaitham slightly pause in sipping his coffee. Ahhhh, so he’s awake, he thought, and turned to the next page of his book. Alhaitham didn’t bother getting up. After all, it was nothing unusual for his boyfriend to scream. Kaveh was prone to be loud, whether he was vexed, angry, or thoroughly taken care of — which was one of the things Alhaitham took great pride in doing regularly. Alhaitham counted down from ten, tapping his long finger accordingly on the kitchen table. As predicted, the door opened at zero, revealing a frantic-looking Kaveh. Only today, it was not Kaveh… Well, it was, but his body was oddly disproportional. His chest was swollen, hips slightly wider, and before he could ask 'what happened,' Kaveh interrupted him. "We have a problem!" Kaveh marched towards him in his usual long strides. His newly acquired 'curves,' however, added some swaying to it that threw Kaveh off balance more than once on that short distance he had to overcome. It made his nose crinkle in irritation, a sight that led Alhaitham's lips to curve into a small smile. He's so cute whenever he does that. "Look at this!" Kaveh exhaled and pointed at his chest, ripping the deep cleavage of his white shirt to the side, exposing a 'bouncy' female breast. "I'm looking," Alhaitham said flatly. "Clearly not, as you fail to comment on my breasts!" Kaveh said, irritation heavy on his tongue. "They do look bigger than yesterday?" he offered, and Kaveh's eyes narrowed. "You think this is funny?" "Quite. Did you eat anything strange? Mushrooms, perhaps?"

Nightcalls a Wriolette story - Work in Progress - Explicit, Light Horror A soft rustle wakes him, and as he jumps from the bed, he stares at the creature, who immediately backs into the corner of the room. His heartbeat quickens, startled, he realises that he had fallen asleep, and at night at that. His body freezes in place as shaking hands tighten the grip around the knife's hilt, ready to strike at any moment. But the crouching figure in the corner looks more like a scared cat than an actual threat. Slowly, the beast peeks at him from below its white bangs and finally scoots over something small and flat. My notebook! As Wriothesley launches for it, the creature shrieks and rushes up the wall to the ceiling, out of his reach. Wriothesley stands there and watches the strange human-like being. He doesn't know what possesses him as he slowly removes the silver gauntlets. This creature was no threat. It was curious. Big violet eyes follow his every move as he slowly discards his weapons and protection. The leather choker stays, however. He holds his hands up and points at the notebook. "Why did you take it?" The creature's head shifts to an impossible angle. Eyes never leaving him as it slowly descends down the wall. Wriothesley notices then that two vertical scars run down its slender back, right about where usually a pair of dark wings would have been. Someone had cut them. He shivers. "Who did this to you? Does it hurt?" he points at the back. Long white hair falls to the side as the creature tilts its head in question. They remain still for a few heartbeats. Violet orbs meet frosty blue, and Wriothesley's stomach clenches. Cautiously, the beast moves closer, the bed creaking slightly under its weight. It reaches out with one of its hands, fingers bent so the claws do not pose a threat. Wriothesley flinches nonetheless as the cold skin touches his cheeks. But what has him truly startled is not the gentle touch of the creature but the soft voice that follows shortly after it. "Does it hurt?" it asks. By the Gods. It speaks.

Chapter 11 Teaser of Tails of the Cerulean Sea, a Haikaveh Story. "Can I ask you something personal?" Alhaitham said on their way back, claws full of their bounty. "Of course! Anything for my dear brother's fiancée," Nilou laughed. "Have you ever wandered the human realm?" Red hair framed her thoughtful features. "I wanted to…but you know how mother is." Right, the Queen wasn't one to agree, not after everything he learned today. "There was only so much she could handle, with Kaveh being as stubborn as he is. I didn't want to burden her further by going rogue like him. That doesn't mean I wasn't itching to feel the sand between those funny little things humans have…It's called toes, I think?" The picture of Nilou dancing freely at the sandy shore filled his vision. "It's a nice sentiment. I hope it will come true one day." Nilou laughed instead. "Forgetting our last meeting ashore, are we? We met your cute King Deshret and negotiated about the fishing borders. But that was an excuse, really. Mother just wanted to pressure Kaveh to finally come home. Typical. They are both so stubborn!" Alhaitham stopped in his tracks. "You think Deshret is cute?" He offered as bait, and Nilou took it all too willingly. "He iiiiiiiiiiis. You should have seen how he blushed when I offered to spar. It really made me want to put him in his place, just once. Does he usually wield the Sekhem Scepter? Or is that just a ceremonial blade?" "That—" was oddly specific, Alhaitham thought. Maybe Deshret actually stood a chance. Not that this was a good idea. Looking back at how Nilou had hunted, he couldn't help but find the thought of her and Deshret eerie. "He can wield it, but his favourite is the bow. His eyesight puts mine to shame. He's the true hawk among us." "Ohhh. I'd love to see," she commented, and Alhaitham made a mental note to pass the idea on to his King. But he should probably warn him about Nilou's nature. Not that he wanted to, but the future of their kingdom was at stake. He couldn't risk a war just because Deshret accidentally got himself killed while trying to earn favour with the lethal redhead. "I'll let him know," he said, already regretting the conversation that would follow with his King.

Neuvillette presses down on the man’s tongue, and Wriothesley groans delightfully into his hand. The flicker from before is back in the light blue eyes. It turns them rather dark. "What do you want me to do about it, run naked into the woods and howl at the moon?" Wriothesley snaps at him. "As delightful as this sounds, I don't think it will benefit your condition. You need something stronger."

Of Fangs and Scorcery - Wriolettte Fanfic Paris, 1659, early autumn. The clicking of heels on the wet cobblestones hall into the morning hours. Fog lies heavy like a veil on the streets of the Latin Quarter. The sky is still dark, the moon barely visible behind dark clouds. A shadow against the door. A figure crouching on the floor. Collapsed in on itself. Its breathing shallow, hardly noticeable by the untrained ear. "It's true then. Feed a stray dog once, and he shall follow you for life." The body clad in a dark coat chuckles. "I fear I lack the energy to exchange verbal bouts with you, Monsieur… please, I'm dying." The heels on the ground come to an abrupt halt. "That I can see. Can you stand?" The figure shakes his head, still holding his side. "I’m going to lift you up. No complaining. You are one heavy lump of muscles. I shall do my utmost not to make you suffer." The man tries to laugh but instead chokes out blood, his breathing turning raspy and wet. Rips puncturing his lungs. Not good, I need to hurry. Neuvillette crouches down, getting one heavy arm over his shoulder before clutching his cane to lift them both up. "Goodness, what is this? Chainmail?" he exhales under the heavy weight. "I wish," comes the gargling reply from the big man beside him. He heaves him inside after struggling with the door for far too long. The bell chimes as it closes, and the room greets him with the familiar herbal spices he sells daily. The backroom, he considers. The shop's windows are far too revealing, but the body next to him gets heavier and ultimately slumps to the floor, dragging Neuvillette with him. "Wriothesley," he mutters, patting the cheeks of the man he came to know over the last few months. "Stay with me, will you?" But the pupils only roll back once he opens the man's eyelids. Curses. Neuvillette grips the head of his cane and brushes over the eyes of the wooden dragon figure with his thumb. Words flitter over his lips, barely audible. They hover in the air, heavy around him as the eye of the dragon starts to glow faintly. "Rise!" He commands the ancient powers, and the body levitates into the air, held up by forces only visible to the keen eye of a sorcerer.

Old Man Yaoi has me in its chokehold again 💕
Nightcalls, Wriolette, WIP. The story contains Explicit content and light horror. As night falls, the house remains still. Clouds travel the horizon as Wriothesley stares into the space that holds nature in an artificial embrace. The garden with all its beauty, the flowers and little statues, stays still as the moonlight casts moving shadows over it. Water trickles down the limestone of the fountain as a shadow dashes over the ground. The creature stays still for a moment, and as its head turns, eyes the colour of midnight stare at Wriothesley from below. He doesn’t move, and neither does the beast. Seconds pass until the siren dips its clawed hand into the cold water. The light body bends and trembles. Wriothesley can see the vicious marks his silver rings had left on the white skin of its arm — dark as the ink from his notebook, burned into the flesh. As the creature shakes, it lifts its head again to watch him cautiously. There are dark stains along his mouth too, and on his left hand. They slowly fade the longer it stays in contact with the water of the fountain. Interesting. Wriothesley turns and sits on the bed. His hands are clad in his silver gauntlets once more. A thick leather choker protects his neck. On his tights are two knife holders. But only one is occupied tonight, the one with the silver blade. The only one he needs for this job to finish. He waits for the beast to come. It should be strong enough now to think it has a chance. A strange feeling wells inside of him. Now that he has allowed it to heal its injuries, he feels conflicted. But a job is a job, he reminds himself as he waits. But the creature never comes.
