Please don't use trans folks as a reason to maintain hopelessness.

The thing is that once problems/disasters start piling up the answer we're going to hear will not be "we need to hire back all those controllers", it will be an excuse to privatize/switch to AI/whatever. "Look! The government sucks and can't run things!"
