A shame as season 4 was a legitimate return to form and arguably salvaged the show's fortunes after a long period of diminishing relevance.

Stranger Things benefits from the model of releasing every episode at once as, while the first half of the season is always very slow and dull, no one remembers that once they get to the exciting finale. Releasing it in chunks works against it be because all you're left with is the weak beginning.
