@hankgreen.bsky.social I love the focus friend app, but I think it would be neat to be able to track how much time I use it to focus each week. I use it when I'm studying and have weekly goals for how much time I spend studying. It would be cool to track that with my focus friend!

Until yesterday I had never thought of elderberry barbecue sauce, but just can attest to it's deliciousness

I've seen a few takes in regards to the #NoKings protests that I'm not sure about. People say "nothing changed" or ask "what did anyone actually do" but had there ever been a major change after one protest? Isn't it encouraging to see more and more people showing up? Am I wrong to be hopeful?

I wish streaming platforms had a shuffle or random option. It could work in a few ways. Like I want a Playlist of shows I like and it just shuffles through plays episodes from different shows randomly.

In the Malheur National Forest in Michigan there is a single fungus that stretches nearly four square miles underground with a combined weight of around 35000 tons and an estimated lifespan of around 8500 years. It's the oldest of five humongous funguses within the forest, each genetically distinct.

We may not have a big plot of the land, but we still have a lot of beautiful native plants growing in our yard. We want to encourage as much native plant and animal life as we can, what plants native to Michigan should we plant to bring birds and pollinators to our yard?
Did you know that Canada Goldenrod (Solidago canadensis) can be directly attributed to over 30 different plant extinctions outside of its native habitat?
Well, this is its native habitat and I'm glad to have it!
