The Building Doors campaign advocates for equal opportunities in the voiceover industry, particularly within male centric brands like sports. It highlights female voice actors voicing ads traditionally done by men, urging brands to embrace gender diversity
After analyzing voice-over trends in Super Bowl 59 ads across multiple regions:

🚨 40% of ads skipped voice-over completely.

🚨 A glaring gender disparity: 47% of ads used male voice-overs, while only 13% featured female voices.

What do you think about these numbers?

The Super Bowl confirmed what we already knew: women’s voices are still missing.

Programs for women and marginalized groups are being cut—but we won’t shrink.

Don’t stay considerate in spaces that won’t consider you.

Find your people. Stay LOUD. Stay determined. Fear won’t silence us—our unity will push us forward.

Tag someone who refuses to be ignored!

Did you watch the Bills vs Chiefs game? I did. But I also paid close attention to the ads & promos.

Out of 132 ads, 78% were voiced by men, while only 22% were voiced by women.

This is why Building Doors exists - to advocate for more women to have the opportunity to voice male centric ads

Think about. When was the last time you heard a woman voicing promos leading up to the Super Bowl? You likely haven't. We think that needs to change.
