Scientist, artist, naive believer that there is still some kind in humankind. Biochemistry is life. Neuromelanin is functional in human brain, and so are glutamate polymers. We call the latter 'chlorophyll' in plants. DNA is mitochondrial poop. Fight me.
I got a similar notice on FB for my wood and glass art. I'm ignoring it, the notice is very suspect imho.

(sigh) I retired early from teaching as the pandemic really made it intolerable. I did my best to make a career out of science and want to write my book. But knowing it would just go out into empty space is really discouraging.

I tried to sign up but was denied as I do not have an academic affiliation. I have a strong publication record though.
