God of grace, may Your salvation redefine our identity, enabling us to extend love, grace, and compassion to others through the extraordinary power of the gospel. Amen.

It only took a year, but I'm finally caught up with #TheBear. It's probably better that I waited to get caught up b/c S4 comes out June 25th. #Yay

Gracious Holy Spirit, help me to trust in your calling when the path is uncertain and the future unclear. Guide me to your people even when the path is uncertain. Amen.

I'm the type of guy who, when I stay at a hotel with an elevator, will do everything I can to use the stairs—more opportunities to get steps in.

To all who care to know, I'm working my way off of social media indefinitely. Scrolling through social media brings me so much drama, hate, anger, and sadness, and I'm tired of it. Really, I just want my pop culture news: the movies, TV shows, pop figures, comics, Legos, etc.

When they first announced Captain Planet was coming to comics, I kind of snickered b/c I didn't think it was real. As more articles came out about it, though, I decided to give it a try.

Y'all, #CaptainPlanet #1 is fun!! Great job, @peposed.bsky.social & @dynamitecomicshq.bsky.social

"Shepherding Lord, help me to trust and follow you. Restore in my soul whatever has atrophied from the abundance you envision for me. Allow me to embrace my virtues and recognize my limits so that I will be better enabled to follow. Amen."

(1/3) "Though [the book of] Revelation is often read as strictly apocalyptic literature, we are invited to consider it as an encouragement to faithful living now that leads to a joyful afterlife, much like what we read in Psalm 30."

"Holy One, teach us the error of our ways. When we arrogantly believe that we have the mind of God, call us to humility. When we hatefully persecute those whom we love, call us to empathy. Jolt us from our sin. Have mercy on us. Amen."

"As #UnitedMethodist, we share the gospel w/o cramming religious truisms down people's throats, hitting people over the head w/contrived cliches, or shouting condemnations from the street corners. We share the gospel in the spirit of love & grace at the center of our Wesleyan tradition."

Hosanna!!!

Today, we joined a procession of the palms in a Spanish cloister. We quickly moved into the passion story. It was simple, yet beautiful and profound. It was a marked contrast from the year I was able to celebrate Palm Sunday in Jerusalem. There, the joy felt unending.

Back in the day (like 100 years ago), people were very active, physically, in their daily lives. This makes sense considering transportation wasn't as advanced as it is in 2025, and the TV wasn't invented yet (that was 1927). Getting 10,000 steps was like a second thought for the majority of people.
