I forced myself to join a local D&D-esque game group to make new friends and socialize. We meet once a week. It has been stressfull, and I am like a deer in the headlights who is drownding and stammers replies compared to the other players who are outgoing and dramatic. But I will stick with it.

Cancelled my BBQ event. Almost everyone cancelled or didn't RSVP. Normally I'd be mad, but I can't hold that against them. They are people in situations I cannot see. It was just a bad day. I cannot, must not, hold it against them.

The guilt, knowing that everyone hated me… but the worst thing was the solitude. Time wears you down, aye… but solitude eats away at you. It was this close to finishing me off. But as bad as it got, and as I empty as I felt… I can’t even imagine what that must be like.

Its been a while since I've beat Clair Obscur Expedition 33, but I still can't stop thinking about it. Sometimes the music, or the plot, even moments. My mind keeps drifting back... What an incredible game.

Seeing an ancient unopened, still in shrink wrap dvd that had maybe 4 epsodes max from mid season Evangelion stirred some kind of nostalgia in me at the thrift store today.
Thank goodness we figured out how to cram a season of a show on one disk.

I have never understood coding and do not have a knack for it. But I need something coded, so I have been trying to make an XML file for Aurora to load.
What a miserable experience debugging is. I've had to start from scratch several times just cause I found out one thing was formatted wrong.😖

Sad to step away from my D&D group, but I need a break. Instead of enjoying the adventure I became frustrated, and that's no good.
D&D will always be somewhere. There are local groups that I can join if I ever feel the desire to play again. For now, I need a break, and I wish our party the best.

Went and hung out at the nearby park to look at fireworks, but no one was there. Maybe because its a weekday and a school night. The air was refreshing, on the cooler side. Still a good outing.
