With all of these long term injuries there may be a few spots available early on next year as we wait to get our senior guys back so glad to hear that these boys are pressing their claim for a round one spot. 🤦‍♂️

Hmmmm… we May have a dynamic trio, but everything is going to have to fall Wright for them.

It’s been a good weekend for young Essendon talent.

Gonna to be quite the needle to thread to get enough young elite talent in prior to the TAS compromised drafts if we’re going to avoid another decade of mid table mediocrity. Any NGA assistance we can grab is a godsend.

Can’t imagine all of Parish/Hobbs/Tsatas will be around in 26.

Though it would be selling low would be tempted to move on from Darcy. It’s likely he is the best of the three (injuries aside) but his meaningful contribution is going to be in the next 2-3 years & we ain’t challenging in that window.

I’m a Bucks fan and Khris is my second favourite all time Buck but let’s be honest if the only path to relevance this year was through a miraculous return of Khris to his best there was probably never realistic path.

Sadly, we’ve been old, slow and asset poor a lot longer than the trade deadline.

Watching us play football suggests it may not be our year.

That said, given injuries, talent on the lists and the form of the two teams you may have happened upon the most compelling reason to back the Dons and as a generally optimistic supporter I’m running with it.

Dons by 24.

Wow, those stats seem to indicate that Giannis may not, in fact be ‘washed’.

Is it possible that ESPN just put out a ridiculous, clickbait headline and Giannis is actually among the greatest players in the world right now?

Also noted that Alex Alessio was named in the bests. Probably a fair way back as a draft prospect but hey, let’s get greedy and hope that he can show something as the year goes on.

Took my Dad to see the VFL (which turned out to the decidedly better football option on Saturday) and was so impressed by Clarke.

He would likely make plenty of errors in the 1’s but they would be errors taking on a bit much trying to drive the ball forward, not errors due to panic and indecision.

Oh Scoot, turn that Patreon machine back on and fire up the podcast studio. I need at least 30 minutes of you waxing lyrical about Tsatas bursting out of packs.

I need that February sugar hit as I’m not super confident that a team this young is going to win much this year.

Absolutely! This is the single most irritating element in the online discourse about referees.
A ref calling a flawed/unpopular/misunderstood rule is not the same as making a bad call.

Tsatas becoming a serious player could be a major inflection point for our list build. A breakout season in 2025 may not have impact where we finish this year given the existing strength of the midfield but his ascension could help future proof that area as we head into the Tassie impacted drafts.

1993 Qualifying Final. Pipped by Carlton by two points but felt really confident that if we got another crack at them during that finals series we would roll over them. A few weeks later…well, we know how that one turned out.

Who’s really envious of those guns is poor Nik Cox. 5 preseasons of slogging his guts out in the gym and he would still kill for arms half the size of those sleeve cannons.

You are now officially a Victorian - ensuring any cricket related post mentions Scott Boland. Congrats and welcome aboard.

Not surprised at the result. Not how I voted but if an ex player was going to get elected glad it was Solly not Paul Weston frankly.

Was wondering what was happening there. Thought your passion for the NBA Cuo had somewhat overwhelmed you.
