One time, one of the wireless mics got muted because a collab previously went to turn it off and muted it instead and I didn’t realize flashing means mute.
Now I do! Haha. It was so frustrating editing that. Unusable except for clips.

People also clip them to their beards but again have you ever heard a lapel mic rustle across a shirt. Ugh. I have one camera use the wireless remote mics and then use a shotgun mic on the camera that will do a more full frame view so I have backup.

If the rustling back and forth on the chest hair causes intrusive noise…I just clip mine to my glasses or hat. I just bought a cheap knock off on amazon for like $30 and it makes a world of difference.
