The problem with Eddie moving w/o telling Chris is that the only response I can imagine is Chris being enraged. I truly can't imagine the 118 supporting this Eddie decision unless he talked to Chris. So, unless Eddie lies to them upon his departure, idk how else this can play out and make sense.

I've seen others whisper this, but I almost feel like Ryan's reaction to the question was him racking his brain to make sure he didn't forget he talked about some major spoilers between him and Buck.

This is 100% the reason I've some renewed excitement for 8b. Yes Buck, use your perceived expendability to wake your husband the fuck up!!! This would also be a perfect opportunity to make a callback to the Will.
Eddie looks so fucked off in this still and it’s directed at Buck like hmm did he risk his own life to go back to save a dog and Eddie isn’t happy because his life is not expendable but Buck doesn’t care anymore because everyone eventually leaves him
