A small meeting doodle with some hints of #Pioneerspacesim
A black and white digital fineliner style sketch of a tall house in among some flat hills on a field, with some large rocks. The rocks and the house has some thin flags blown by the wind. The house has two floors and a pitched roof, and a large three-tubed chimney puffing a thin line of smoke. A bit further over the house, half-obscured by the hills, a Mola Mola spaceship is sitting on the field, and there are some tiny bits of sci-fi details around, like an antenna or a round tank nestled next to the house.

'Been playing with some Natrix ship interiors, and it is a quite interesting to figure out a layout for a ship that spends most of its time under thrust gravity (tower layout), but is supposed to belly land as well.

Needed distraction from some heavy stuff, and mocking up a new space station screen mockups for Pioneer Space Simulator felt like the thing to work on. Still rough and clunkily put together, but starts to shape up.

I've started blocking out a possible version of the Storeria rework for @pioneerspacesim.net
Aiming for an interstellar hauler capable if both tail sitter and belly sitter configuration. (And to tempt the others to implement that feature ; )

A bit ago I've started redesingning one of the first ships I've contrbuted to Pioneer Space Sim about ten years ago.
Still in a the sketching/blockout phase. Hopefully I can work on it during the winter break.

A side hatch and two portholes, and RCS thrusters are also visible. The nacelles have linear aerospike retro thrusters on the inner side. Rear-bottom view of the ship, with Blender's viewport rendering. The large linear aerospike main engines, the radiator fins above and bellow it, and the rear cargo hatch are visible. On the belly of the craft, the docking collar cover is open, and the collar is extended.

There are stubby stabilizers on the nacelles. The overall shape of the parts is somewhat round, like aircraft airframes.

The proportionally large engines and radiators dominate the tail. The whole ship is mostly light gray, with some dark gray accents on the sides. There are two medium docking collars on the sides and one small on the top. The cockpit is offset to the right, and on the left there's a small intake. The ship is relatively flat and long, mostly symmetric vertically, and laterally as well, with bits of little assymetries here and there. The cockpit for example is shited to the top starboard side, and an intake cowling balanced that on the port side. There are relatively large radiators on the rear of the ship, both on the top and sides. It has two side docking collars, and a smaller one at the top. It has prominent RCS maneuvering thrusters. There's a sensor and radar pod, and a couple of short antennas on the nose. It sits on the landing pad slightly at an angle, its three-wheeled front landing gear just visible at the edge of the shadows. The landing pad has large tiles and some faint yellow markings, and some crane legs and lamp posts are visible on the curving walkways of the orbital station. View from a spaceship cockpit, lookint at another ship. Both are approaching an orbital above a ringed planet. The planet is mostly in shadow, but the sun is glinting on the horizon.
