The march is about to get started a little before the UW-Madison football team is scheduled to kick off against Ohio State. A Bucky the Badger is here. Asked about missing the game for the protest, he said "the People's Bucky believes in democracy... Without democracy, there would be no games."

GOP lawmakers announced today a bill that would require local law enforcement in Wisconsin to verify the citizenship status of people in custody for felony offenses and to alert ICE if citizenship cannot be verified. Noncompliance could result in a 15% loss in shared revenue payment. Story to come
