In a world of chaotic uncertainty and binary polarisation, at least there’s one thing we can all agree on. Right?

Worked for BBC as a rural reporter & was horrified to see our BBC pandering to RW & slowly losing its precious neutrality.
IMHO we have to have an independent review, probably sack some & bring in stricter rules to protect BBC from malicious outside influence

Maybe Keir should demand the heads of major US news networks any time they imply Britain is on the brink of civil war or that we live under sharia law. Or does it not work both ways?

The BBC is a not its board. That board has been ill suited to the true values of the BBC for too long.
This is an opportunity to reset the politicisation of our national broadcaster and deliver much better and more neutral political coverage for its viewers.

I’ve written to Keir Starmer, Kemi Badenoch and Nigel Farage urging them to condemn Donald Trump’s attack on the BBC.
The BBC belongs to Britain, not Trump. We must defend it together.

What is your biggest musical blindspot for someone precisely your age?
For me - an elder millennial - it is that I have never knowingly listened to INCUBUS, nor could I name even one of their songs if you put a gun to my head.

I just want my country back. I want our BBC back. I want our NHS back, our water, our energy companies. All back, out of the hands of foreign investors and tax-avoiding, Trump-supporting global companies.

Oh dear, how sad.
Next do Kuenssberg and Mason
Then throw ‘balance’ in the bin and cancel Nigel’s next round of appearances and book Ed and Jack in his place.

Some things are sacred. The National Trust is one of them.
Weird that they should be in the sights of so called patriots. You’d think they of all folk would recognise a true jewel in our crown.
Bit like RNLI innit.

Thank you to all National Trust members who voted to support the Trust. The hostile venture capitalist backed ‘Restore’ plc have been defeated for another year. But with a lower turnout this year, it’s not over yet. Expect the same next year.

Aspirations? Aspir-fucking-ations? In a manifesto??
This makes every hack and media enabler look like the fools they are.
Stop giving this ridiculous and politically inept man any goddam oxygen.
Aspirations. For five fucking minutes.
(I’m quite cross about this if it wasn’t obvious)

Is it the toe-curlingly condescending reports that would be a disservice to viewers of CBeebies? Or the immature hack lifestyle living out the turbulent life in Whacky Westminster like it’s real life? Or the blatant bias and desperation for us to live in ‘interesting times’?
It’s all 3 isn’t it.
It’s all 3 isn’t it.
Chris Mason is what happens when a Hospital Radio DJ, whose sole qualification appears to be a sort of soporific inoffensiveness, is somehow promoted to BBC Politics Editor - a position that demands unflinching insight, objectivity, and sharpness. It's like a puddle trying to be the ocean.

The worlds richest man has landed a target based pay deal of $1trn, despite Nazi salutes and ongoing white supremacy.
An obvious racist is president of the USA, he’s also a nonce and a rapist.
A career racist is leading polls in the UK.
I mean, fucking hell people 🤷♂️

There’s a lot of talk about taking ‘our country back’ and patriotism.
We showed the world with the Olympic opening ceremony who we were before austerity shrivelled our hearts and when Farage was merely a CAA statistic.
Having watched the Tories and UKIP leech us dry, I now want my country back.
