Will occasionally shitpost about MAFS/The Block/Below Deck
I was surprised, and disappointed, to read that travel to USA from Aus was up 8% yoy. Why would anyone want to travel to a country and consequently support a govt that treats people this way? Barbaric.

Also the sharp tap on the head with the brush if you moved too much.....ouch 😬

My mum kept my hair cut short because I complained so much about her brushing it....looked like a young boy throughout much of the 70s

When is Qld ceding from the rest of Aust? Probably make them and the rest of us much happier.

Minns has been a disappointment since elected. His stance on the right to protest, lack of response to problem gambling, whf crackdown on public servants. If I didn't know any better would assume its just another lnp got

It boggles my mind that the people of Kiama voted for him even after the libs stood him down. What in actual hell were they thinking.

I can't imagine how miserable someone's life is that they take such strident offence at a fairly simple practice of acknowledging the traditional owners of the land. This practice has little to no impact on you, but you are so offended by it you want to stop anyone being able to practice it.

True....my 18 year old nephew listens to more 1980s Australian music than modern stuff.
July 17, 2025 at 4:54 AM
100% - I get that musical tastes are subjective and that there will be differences for each generation in what they see as songs that in the words of triplej "define the sound of the nation and echo across generations" but leaving Sounds of Then off the list makes no sense.
July 17, 2025 at 3:55 AM
Thought that for a while. I think all but 1 of the songs I voted for this year were Australian artists. And while we are on Triple J what's with leaving one of the most Oz songs of all time off the list for the Australian Hottest 100. GANGgajang's Sounds of Then.

I wonder if Trump matters to the oligarchy at this point. Have they destroyed enough of the pillars of democracy that they no longer need Trump as the figurehead/puppet and don't care if MAGA turn away from him. MAGA would support the next guy as a hero that revealed Trump was part of the deep state

Why would any woman want to go into a club that so clearly believes they aren't worthy enough to belong, but will grudgingly invite them in to fix their cash flow problem. Sounds sooo tempting.... where do I find a man to invite me in /s 🤦‍♀️

I think they are adjusting for exchange rate...ie $5 usd. Attached list of price of cappuccino by country. Aust is #39 on list at 3.50 USD which is probably around $5.

Literally her own employer referring to it as caught in the crossfire..... funny.... He didn't appear to be shooting at anyone other than her and there didn't appear to be any bullets coming from the protesters 🤔
June 9, 2025 at 3:06 AM
FFS. Anyone watching could clearly see he took aim & fired at a reporter who had her back to him. Would have been obvious to him that she was press given a large camera being pointed at her as she spoke into a microphone.
Headline literally referring to their own employee.
Where's their outrage? 🤬

He did do 6 jobs for the price of one 😉

As they say ...don't interrupt the enemy when they are making a mistake...but this is so shortsighted as to be farcical.

And who will do the jobs that ai can't yet do? If we replace entry level jobs with ai will there come a time where ai isn't yet capable but we don't have trained staff to replace skilled retiring workers? entry level is where we start to develop and expand our skills.

Sorry. Just saw the ICAC tag/quote at end of your post...assume this is from the school infrastructure case
June 3, 2025 at 4:46 AM
Look at the school infrastructure case currently before ICAC to see how the use of contractors and consultants can be co-opted to employ mates or pay people outside the range for a role

Also....if I'm wealthy, have a stable high paying job, access to child care, don't think there is any looming crisis regarding climate changing, already have a house, can access my gp when I need etc etc then I might report my mental health as higher than someone struggling in those areas.

Misread that as not a cruise fan and was wondering when you got to the bit about how it was actually good to watch a movie on the high seas while sipping a cocktail 🚢🍹🍿🎥
