Have I mentioned that I built this bike in a cave from a box of scraps, and that I'm available for motorcycle journalism jobs? I have experience as a writer, editor, and manager. I have all my shots, I'm housetrained, and I can supply best references.

Having myself a little fun this morning
Back in the early-80s, Japan’s Big Four motorcycle manufacturers were locked in a new wave of technological warfare. After the displacement/cylinder wars of the 70s shook out — and once two-strokes were banished fully to the land of wind and ghosts off-road sector — there was kind of a détente as Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, and Suzuki were content to out-do one another with incremental drivetrain advances and clever marketing instead of more cylinders and more displacement. Then a new decade dawned, forced induction became popular, and Japan’s motorcycling cold war went hot again.

Two short story collections. The smaller one is, "The Best Horror Stories Vol. 1" by Fantasy and Science Fiction magazine. Published in 1988 (I've had it since then). The larger one is "Africa Risen: A New Era of Speculative Fiction". Published in 2022.

The salient point of American politics is that a good 2/3 of the country would volunteer to live in a refrigerator box under an overpass with their family and eat sparrows cooked on a curtain rod if only someone would make sure that the marginalized person in the next refrigerator box over didn't have a curtain rod or a sparrow to cook on it.
