If they nuke the filibuster, Democrats should start the "We can have Universal Healthcare, Billionaire taxes, and Free Childcare" in 2028 as a political ad campaign.
White House budget director Russ Vought joins the calls for Senate Republicans to nuke the filibuster. Vought has argued that the government funding process should be less bipartisan; this would achieve that.

But: Republicans still don’t have the votes.

Been reading about the rise of Nazism. So many entities - businesses, right-wing parties, trade unions - struck deals with Hitler after he became chancellor, where he promised to preserve elements of the old system. Then months later he invariably broke them and jailed or killed those people.

I am not an Elon Musk fan by any means, but deporting him will guarantee no immigrant (of which our most powerful companies were founded by) will ever open a business in the US again.

Why couldn’t a school kid object to evolution?

Could they object to history teaching them about the crusades?

What about them objecting to math? 1+1=2 is impeding on my religion of binary math?

What’s to prevent a school kid in saying all education is against my religion and “opt out” of school?

BREAKING: The Supreme Court ruled public schools must allow opt-outs from any lesson parents believe will interfere with their child's religious development, including LGBTQ-themed materials.

This will make it difficult for public schools to teach lessons that may trigger religious objections.

What’s to prevent a student from opting out of literally everything?
So, liberal parents who can ground their beliefs in religion (many do) can opt out of:

- abstinence only education
- Baby Olivia videos
- reading Ayn Rand
- any class that talks about Donald Trump or this Supreme Court

This is going to be fun.

(And by "fun" I mean "utter and complete nonsense").
