Yes that’s generally true, and there needs to be a great amount of trust involved.
However, as far as I am concerned, I would blindly trust Bee (and Kitty) and I would follow their block lists with no hesitation.

I think that the main reason is monetization: many accounts on X are posting outrageous content just to trigger reactions and make money from the engagement.
Their voice is then magnified by “the algorithm”, emboldening morally bankrupt people who otherwise would live ashamed in a corner.
