If we compare the complete trade and also include netflix, Google and such the ratio between imports, exports, trade deficit and tariffs looks like this.
It is interesting that Argenitia and Brazil are excluded.

Here are the trade tariffs with different partners and the tariffs. This focusses on trade in goods only. I do see some relation but not a very strict one.
