While I'll miss access to Star Trek, it was past time to cancel Paramount+ / CBS / whatever they are now. The cancelling of Colbert, installing Bari Weiss to lead CBS News combined with the subsequent corporate consolidation of media with the resulting layoffs were just too much.

I'll be sad to lose access to a couple shows but it was time to cancel Hulu, Disney, and HBO Max (or whatever they are calling it now). I just increased my sustaining memberships to PBS and NPR.

The Supreme Court said it was unlawful for the Biden administration to forgive student loans because it lacked congressional authority but has no problem with the Trump administration gutting the entire Department of Education without congressional approval. This is a lawless court.

This #EarthDay I did my small part by commuting on my bike. I have been doing this three times a week which saves at least 60 miles of driving. It's actually fewer miles on my bike because of the route.

NEW: A second filing today from the DOJ tells Judge Xinis that in their view, since Mr. Abrego is in Bukele's custody, she can't order them to do anything further to bring him back since that's not what "facilitate" means.

They also say the deal with Bukele is classified and/or a state secret.
