I just saw a commercial for a cooking show with Octavia Spencer. She is a wonderful actress and ordinarily I will gladly watch anything she does. A cooking show is the exception. I just can’t have her handling food after watching The Help. #nopenottoday

Native plants work wonders in a yard. This one is a firebush and it is not only beautiful, it attracts butterflies when in bloom. It’s hard to capture them in a picture, but my yard is filled with butterflies right now.
