Always good to stop and help a cyclist who needs something.

It’s karma. That’s all.

The learning curve with sourdough is exponential.
Then there is the knowledge that makes the process so forgiving.
For that I am thankful.
Need to made some bagels again. And pizza. Detroit squares too.

Riding Whittier gravel tomorrow! So happy I took a day off the bike today.

My high school campus has a cat that so many staff and students have adopted. Where said cat uses the bathroom… ?

Today I finally pet the cat and it was a good moment. I am allergic like crazy to cats but I so love them. Wish I could have them. Maybe an outdoor shelter cat when the labs pass on?

Bike commutes are the best commutes.

Every. Damn. Day. I pinch myself I am so lucky.

It’s thick wool sock commute season in SoCal. Finally.

Remember: Almost all of us are the descendants of immigrants who fled persecution, or were brought to America under duress, or sought better lives for themselves and their descendants.

Politicians who stoke fear and hatred over immigration want you to forget this.

Do not.

Making croutons for a dressing later this week and the fresh sage and garlic are the best potpourri on a chill Sunday night.

I’ve had a blessed Thanksgiving break. That is all. All appreciation for all the things.

Two days of good riding. So happy about it.

Now pizza before tomorrow’s ride in Redlands then rest and cooking before a Boxer Day climb in Santa Clarita!

Two days off the bike and I felt rusty at the start of today’s spin up a river trail.

One of those rest days was for the Great Los Angeles Walk and those 20+ miles were good for the legs.

Lucky to walk and bike.

I don’t donate to political runs normally, but I did for Kamala and I will if Stacey Abrams runs.

Dedicating two days to catchup on grading. Hoping to split tomorrow’s session with a ride to Redlands and Sunset from the east.

If it wasn’t good for the dude then he would not have said or reacted the way dude did.

It’s a scam. Like everything else!

Update about the driver with the foggy windows who knocked my HarperLab into the curb… he stopped by yesterday with an apology and a bag of goodies for the dogs.

It was good for both of us and I am glad he had the courage to make it happen.

Right your wrongs and take responsibility I teach.

Replay of last week’s “Indian Time” on @kucr.bsky.social and I still love it.

Today I am in the kitchen wondering what to make for dinner.

Last week I was on the way to YouTube Theater for a Yes concert via Common Space Brewing.

The man who knocked my dog into the curb Monday morning because he could not see out of his foggy windows stopped by this evening with a dog care package and short note. It was a kind gesture.

I said a smaller dog would have been run over.

He mentioned his daughter.

Enough said.

Spent the last two hours making homemade sourdough vegan dressing for a staff potluck tomorrow. Not sure if others will enjoy it, but it was fun to make and it’s tasty af.

I dream of riding a bike when I’m not riding a bike. Like right now.

A driver with a foggy window ran into my lab this morning and knocked her into the curb. If she were smaller then likely run over.

Morning drivers… please defrost your windows and give space to pedestrians and their canine companions.
