Thanks! I checked the release notes in my podcast app, but there was no link. Didn't think to check the website for some reason.

If you burn down a forest, you don't miss out on lumber for just that season. You have to replant all the trees, nurture them, and wait for them to grow.

The science and research budget cuts happening now are wanton, senseless arson. Recovery, if it ever happens, will take generations.

3. Another option is the Ulanzi clock (ulanzi.com/collections/clock/p…). @smarthomejunkie.net has a great video on integrating this with @home-assistant.io and using it to display all kinds of information.

2. TRMNL doesn't support Home Assistant OOB, but it appears to use an ESP32, and someone has already created custom firmware for the device, so you could flash it add it yourself. (github.com/jesserockz/esphome-…) I'm guessing that would make it fairly simple to write custom notifications for it.

1. Check out ESPHome, if you want to build something custom. Get an ESP32, some LEDs, and build whatever you want. Similar to Arduino, but ESPHome works natively with Home Assistant.

I believe you mentioned that you use Anylist. There’s also a custom add-on for that.

Also, the official Discord and the Home Assistant Community Forums are great resources.

Once you get that, take a look at Mini Graph Card and Apex Charts.

You can find a lot of custom front end and integrations on HACS. So, youll probably want to start by setting up HACS on your Home Assistant install.

Yeah, they added what they called Segments. Much easier to make a decent dashboard now. Also, there’s tons of really nice custom cards that you can use for charts/graphs.
