Did the same pulsating rectangle test in Godot and got the same FPS as my naive JS + Canvas2D approach. So, time to optimize! First, I'll try batch rendering and direct movement instead of physics. If that’s not enough, I’ll take it up a notch with some multi-threaded box moving. Overkill? 😅

I can't imagine needing more than 1,000 sprites at any given time for my pixel art game, and even 144 FPS feels like overkill.
