My grandmother, Maroofh, born 16 February 1929 in Bir Nabala, Palestine, died 27 December 2024 in Chicago, IL. Twice widowed, mothered 10 children through adulthood, survived by 9 still living, grandmother and great grandmother and matriarch to literally hundreds more.
