Hello all! A little about me: on the internet I'm called Nicholas or, alternately, "that jackass." I've lived all over the nation but grew up mainly in God's country, i.e. East Tennessee. I spent the first 11 years of my life in the Gothard/IBLP cult and have been slowly becoming more normal since.
Describing someone as "complex," as if you've made an important discovery, is a sure sign that you don't really care about most of your fellow men.
All humans are complex. Most of them just aren't hot enough/viral enough/rich enough for guys like this to notice.

I stumbled onto the main page for Sports on Substack (not logged in) and within the first five recommended pieces were one boilerplate anti-trans screed and one blatantly racist rant about white people actually being superior athletes than Black people.

I watched The Biggest Loser one (1) time when I was a teenager and was immediately struck by how much of a dick Jillian Michaels was. I was so confused by her fame every time she popped up afterwards. Sometimes first impressions really are the truth.

must say i also find it fascinating that when a Tesla booster (with an interesting number in their social media handle) criticizes the diner it devolves into a screed dehumanizing the staff as "junkies" and "illegals," capped off with a wish to see them replaced with robots
