We lost a true Gooner yesterday 💔. My family said goodbye to our 15-yo black lab Lily. She was a great athlete who could leap 7-ft hay bales in a single bound and she always put up with our game-day antics. Shown here rocking her @mainegooners.bsky.social scarf. We buried her with it ❤️🤍

Heat pumps have been so popular in Massachusetts over the past few years that the utilities had to ask regulators for more money multiple times(!), largely because they hadn’t anticipated that so many folks would want to switch from gas to heat pumps. It’s been WILD! 🤯10/15

At least two electric utilities in MA will soon be offering discounted heat pump rates (exciting!) and, as their presentation pointed out, these discounts could bring the costs of running a heat pump in line with gas and oil. 😮 5/15

Interesting dynamic happening in MA right now, #EnergySky and #GreenSky: even though switching from gas to heat pumps doesn't actually save $ here, heat pumps are getting SUPER popular. It's breaking the cost-effectiveness (benefit-cost ratio, or BCR) of our energy efficiency programs!
