I also managed to read 20 books this year incl. audiobooks, printed, & e-books, plus I was able to swap/borrow books from friends more than previous years 📚 added lots of horror books by South American authors to my reading list. Read my 1st Sanderson novel with Tress of the Emerald Sea, too!

On the list of ‘Things I’m Proud to have Accomplished in 2024’ is presenting my dissertation work at my first international conference, the World One Health Congress ( #WOHC ) in Cape Town, SA 🥲 nerve-wracking but also so cool to be included in a session with lots of innovative #OneHealth work! 🧪 🦇

Explore California’s diverse ecosystems while building #OneHealth skills thru hands-on, practical learning experiences, case studies, and field experience. The course is led by faculty from UC Davis Schools of VetMed & Medicine, @onehealthinstitute.bsky.social , and the UC Global Health Institute
