Replaced the hinge clamps yesterday.
The Brompton hinge clamp design is intended for the clamp plate to wear instead of the bike's frame, so Brompton recommends replacing both clamps every 8,000 kms or when the gap between the hinge casting and the clamp plate is less than 0.90 mm.

Quiet ride, not sure I felt a pathway bump on the wide tires. Responsive gearing, braking. Gearing range feels wide. Comfortable geometry.
Feels like a Brompton but also different, like more bike but softer ride.

Our community rides, while not subject to Alberta's ban on trans girls/women in female sports, are open and safe for transgender youth/adults to join.
We believe transgender people deserve access to sport, activity, social well-being, and social connection.

Tough conditions on the Nose Creek Pathway without the benefit of any ploughing, but in a nod to tradition, we left everything on the path and pushed the full distance.
