the term 'blowback' for things like mujahidin->9/11 and this new DC shooting, i guess means something like: we control X, but then X does something bad to us out of our control. it's that second "out of our control" bit that seems kinda non sequitirly tacked on.

walked 19 miles yesterday. walking is my fave. training up for a absurd 30 mile day. good exercise, good time to think, do it with my pal for convo, really makes for an incredible night's sleep

went to a show yesterday that was just 14 drummers with full drum kits playing in a big house, with the audience just milling about in the midst of them, very cool experience
