When will everyone finally admit that the *worst* thing the BBC does is: not having the football BBC DOG in the same position as the iPlayer live feed BBC DOG.

NICHE DISCOVERY OF THE DAY: I always liked how the front cover of Cuckooland's "Pop Sensibility" (Damaged Goods, 1995, art credited to Paul Petard) looked like a Tom Paterson comic panel. Just discovered it's based on the first ever panel of a Calamity James strip (1 Nov 86).

Co-written, of course, by TV's Richard Osman.

Providing the draw doesn't plonk Scotland in Mexico or Canada, this is surely going to be their Would Cup single, isn't it? Hopefully with a rap by Scott McTominay

My Herculean quest to watch every episode of Full Frontal does involve skipping through *lots* of references to mid-90s Australian TV adverts I've no knowledge of, but there's a lot of gold in there.

And then having the singer because an asshole lawyer in Better Call Saul. (He's changed his name to Howard, but it's definitely him.)

Just had a look at Discogs, and The Best of Republica (a) does exist, (b) is called what you think it is, and (c) only has ten tracks on it. Surely they could've rustled up some b-sides? #TOTP

Very likely preaching to the long-converted here, but Gigantic: A Tale of Two Johns is a must for any TMBG fans. From seeing Michael McKean recite the lyrics to The End Of The Tour, to the Johns promoting their about-to-launch album on The Daily Show on (checks notes) erm, 10 September 2001.
