Did you think at any point that Carson beck had a concussion? He seemed really off for the entire fourth quarter. The second to last interception was just a truly terrible decision. He didn’t look right to me, and I was hoping Louisville would win, so this isn’t an excuse

Excited for the continuation of your “sort-of racist stat” of the week. Hilarious!!

This is by far the most entertaining college football podcast going now. As a Texas fan, I was dreading the Saturday live show and even the Thursday show, but Joel, Van, and Tate make everything easy. Love this show

Shit, they did lose.

Sadly, entirely accurate. Pretty sure they won that Kansas game though.

I like to think the guy that invented Pringles wanted to sell tennis balls, but when a truckload of potatoes showed up, he was just real cool about it.

If all it takes to get a response from one of my favorite sports personalities is to be wrong, well sir, you’re going to be quite busy. You’ll be shocked at how often I am wrong about shit

Wasn’t Reggie miller’s choke sign also in game one?

Texas, in the national semi-final, was at the one yard line with a chance to tie against Ohio State in last minutes of the 4th quarter. To say they weren’t competing for a national championship is ridiculous.

I am a regular listener. Do you feel like you might be doing an episode soon on the complete dismantling of the federal government, and how US society functions when 25-50-75 percent of federal workers are fired?

This amazing. As a Texas fan, I’ll say you’re absolutely correct.

I mean, dear god, what more did you need from the man to prove he was the best college football player that year?

It took just two weeks for college football to demonstrate to me why this is an incredibly stupid idea. As per usual, I am an idiot. Lessons learned.

To be fair, Texas has a significantly better strength of schedule than Indiana. Also, Vandy scored with 45 seconds left in the game to cut it to 3, the game was never in doubt

That seems to be the path we are headed down. But it’s going to be strange to have a team ranked in the top 5 all year long then decide at the last minute there are 12 better teams, presumably because they lost again set a top 15 team, on the road, at night, in a blood-feud rivalry.

*cfb playoff. Thanks autocorrect, nailed it once again

Teams will continue to want to win the conference championship game so long as there is no detriment to losing the game and winning it results in a bye week for cab playoff. It obviously lessens the impact on the loser but does provide motivation to win.
