Right, the vintage course there was just under two miles and closed a runway. There’s no reason I’d doubt they’ll close at least one and avoid as much of the base’s roads as possible.

I mean, they’re also deporting and stopping assistance to all the Afghans that helped our troops and were forced to leave their homes or become victims of the Taliban because of DJT’s deal, so invoking battle pride is pretty sick on this one.

Cowardice, or watching out for NPR’s employees? If she doubles down, their funding is pulled, & people lose their jobs; righteousness doesn’t put food on the table. Not cowardly, but humble to put ego and personal feelings aside to help the many. An act this administration wouldn’t understand.
