Visited the Iolani Palace museum archive yesterday and got to hold a Royal Order of the Rising Sun gifted by the Emperor of Japan to the King of Hawaii in the 1880s.
Today, I had a great session with the ROK-U.S.-Japan Trilateral ISC Delegation in DC. I facilitated a 1.5 hour discussion on Gender in Asia and its importance to Trilateral relations. Whip smart students with insightful perspectives and complex questions. I actually had to make the quiz harder!
