My paper is entitled "Translating Gorman’s 'Black Girl Magic': Aesthetics, Politics, and Ethics in the Translation of a Viral Inaugural Performance". By reflecting on the aesthetic, political, and ethical dimensions, it aims to inspire a debate on the translation process. 2/

In her speech, Anne delivered a passionate & pointed reflection on the role of the #humanities in our society.

As the year is slowly but steadily coming to an end, it's time to reflect on this year's New Year's Resolution re my #WorkLifeBalance. So, this year saw me return to painting. The #LCFE & #JimFurlong provided wonderful space to be creative & meet people. Looking forward to the follow-up painting 🎨

Today, I had the pleasure to attend the opening of the "Landings" exhibition at the UCD Humanities Institute.
The exhibition displays the artistic responses to former mining sites in IRE, EE, and SA that were part of a research project on Post-Extractivist Legacies & Landscapes.
