I left FB after 20 yrs mainly for this very reason, except posts were more petty gripes about jobs/coworkers, and perceived ills inflicted by strangers and neighbors, that all paled by comparison. You get it, hangnails and burnt toast and the like. Got rid of IG and X for political differences. 🙄

This week, when the anxiety wells up, I visit my orchids and new (as of Tuesday) air plant display. I chat it out with the little cuties naïvely growing away. Just writing this is sending me up there now. Looking forward to perusing others’ show-and-tell.
