A friend was offered £1700 for the same car at his address with under a year's driving experience. In Scotland it's under £1k with little no-claims. Still doesn't explain why an EV6 is half the price to insure here, even though it's a more expensive vehicle and more scarce.

Note that this is fully comp, with 15 years no claims, £1k voluntary excess, SDPC for 10k miles. The industry needs proper regulation and transparency, it's just black box numberwang right now!
