Why is it written like the description of a video game setting?
An excerpt from a book. "Through a curved wood archway, Finch stepped into a hallway decorated with dark wallpaper and a mix of antique art and school flyers advertising upcoming sporting events, breakfast for dinner in the dining hall, and various clubs. Finch’s eyes roved over the walls and down to the common area, a room adorned with heavy curtains, a fireplace, and old-fashioned wood and velvet seating. Inside were a few parents hugging their daughters goodbye, looking weepy and proud all at once"

Ah yes, a very specific amount, "to taste".
A comment under a recipe. The recipe is rated 4 stars. "I liked this recipe, but not so much that I would make it again. I think it would be helpful for the ingredients to give a specific amount of paprika - something like 1 teaspoon, or to taste. It would serve as a starting point for people who don't usually use paprika. Were I to make it again, I would use other/additional spices and maybe throw in some onion wedges"

My book haul was me going to my local library today.

What if people used normal words in their questions?
"Spicy". Do you wanna ask if this book has a lot of sex? Use these words. Or are you 13 and trying to hide from your parents?
