If the ratings are anything to go by, I'm definitely in the minority with my dislike of this book.
DNF at 18%....I could not get over the excessive commentary over how much the MC lusted over her brother in law.

Perry discusses his struggles with addiction with brutal honesty, self-deprecation and sarcasm. Some parts inspire, others are heartbreaking, and a few are…ehh (looking at you, weird comments about women).
It's not always pretty, but neither is addiction. And that's the point.

I was flabbergasted that S.A. Cosby referenced my rural Virginia hometown in his book. It was a surreal reading experience and fantastic book
