My 2025 goal is to manage overstimulation.
I don't want tips about being a ‘perfect’ parent. I need something that acknowledges how hard parenting is when your brain feels like it’s constantly on the verge of short-circuiting.

I speak as a neurodivergent therapist who works with autistic kids. We are exhausted from living in a world that demands us to shrink, conform, and mask just to make everyone else comfortable.
Autism is not a disease and these kids are not damaged, despite what HHS Secretary Kennedy says.
