NSF today just archived it's primary program that funded paleoclimate research for US Climate Scientists. Scientists are encouraged to submit their projects to other calls instead. Competition for limited funds is sure to increase dramatically. 🧪

🧪 ⚛️ Open communication has always been a cornerstone of science. However, in the past 50 years it has been largely obstructed by high prices that prevent free flow of information and exchange of ideas, effectively blocking and preventing new groundbreaking discoveries in science and medicine.

I went to a talk for people with back issues,
The older guy beside me remarked,'you look healthy to me', to my face and then proceeded to sit comfortably on a chair for 1 hr without having to move or massage anything in pain. I couldn't sit comfortably on the chair for that long.

Today is daffodil day. The daffodils that I planet last year are nit blooming yet....but the did grow. I guess thats something, at least.

School libraries are so important. In Ireland school libraries have not been annually funded since 2008.
A lot has happened in children’s books and in Ireland and the world in all those years.
They need access to contemporary books!
Bring back school library funding!

I am very, very fed up with Dr's not believing me. I have been chronically ill for 14 years, and all I want is a genuine explanation as to why...not a fob off syndrome, or medics with no interest in finding out why.
I can not live without a proper explanation as to why this is happening.

Why is Man holding a hairdryer, is it to distract us from the fact that all these new bus routes, bar one, connects up rich dart line SE Dubs to other places, while West and South West Dublin are left with a piss poor services.

I got warmsocks and handcream for Christmas, and I was genuinely happy and relieved that I got both. Teenage ne would have been appalled. Teenage me knew nothing.
