I honestly do not get that sport. Rugby (U or L) yes. Gaelic football, yes. Aussie rules... it's mental, but yes. American Football... so dull. If it was played without helmets and padding, and had immediate restarts without infinity subsitutes, it would be interesting I reckon.

Quite possibly disinformation. I don't know why Russia would lie given the black box recorder has been retrieved. But then again, this is Russia we're talking about. I don't know why they lie constantly and do half the stupid shit they do.

Is it possible that they had issues banking the plane after 'the incident'? Needed to burn up fuel over the Caspian before attempting to land? If the rumour is true that it attempted three landings (being struck on the third) it doesn't make sense to try to land a damaged plane in low visibility.
