A poet, a scholar, and a gentleman. Truly the best of us.

How about you take the money from the insurers and give it directly to the hospitals. Then let the hospitals treat everyone who needs treatment.

Aside from that, unfortunately, your best option is often to prevent the worst rather than aim for the best.
Once you have a two-party system voter choice effectively disappears; the elites choose who to run in the primaries, so you have already lost your options.

I know this is not the answer you want; but part of the solution is to reform voting so that it does not inevitably produce a two-party system.
Ranked choice with multi-seat constituencies gives smaller parties and independents a fighting chance to gain seats and real power.

Where in God's name did you get that image?!?
That is NOT what the road network of the British Isles looks like.
And given the topic one might get the impression that you were deliberately overstating traffic and population density...

The closest moon to earth since 2019?
That seems ... improbable.
The closest full moon to earth since 2019 is more likely.

How sick and grotesque is that?
It is a crime against humanity. Trump is not only a felon and lawless president, he is committing crimes against humanity. He should be shunned to the same extent as his friends Putin and Netanyahu.

The court does not get to choose who is charged.
A real DOJ would be charging ICE agents for their criminal activity.

A strong floor and no ceiling.
A STRONG FLOOR and no ceiling.
Shout it from the rooftops.

This is, to my mind, an example of how far the Overton window has moved already in the US.
In most countries the centrist position includes taxing the rich. The left position includes nationalising industry. It is only the right and far right that is low tax, for-profit everything.

"The Prop 50 world of ultra-gerrymandered states."
Not the Texas or Florida or Ohio world of ultra-gerrymandered states?

Unfortunately the minority who keep hoarding more and more are the ones who become famous. Musk. Bezos. Koch.
These people who arguably have a hoarding disorder and anti-social tendencies become role models while the larger number who turn their excess energy to social good go unnoticed.

The research shows that the vast majority of people who have 'more than enough' will continue to work for other reasons. Interest. Esteem. Self-worth.
Often that work will be more innovative and original than most work for hire, with a strong social value.

Why do you still have these for profit parasites in you healthcare system?
Health is a social good. In a healthy society EVERONE benefits. The US is the ONLY modern western society without universal healthcare.
MAKE IT HAPPEN!
