Sometimes I'm afraid that I might actually _love_ pickles; that I've just convinced myself they're awful, and that I'm really missing out. Then I accidentally eat a french fry that's been sitting in pickle juice because the kitchen didn't heed my request for "no pickles ...anywhere."
