Recipe isn’t ready for beantips.com just yet, but I’m really happy with tonight’s chickpeas + noodles with broth. It’s spiced kinda like pho, kinda like barbacoa consommé. Definitely not vegan.

Was out running errands on the northwest side and decided to grab a hot dog, but the stand was closed. So I got Uyghur instead. Love this city.

Current status: Trying damned hard to update a kitchen built in 1969, and keep as much quality weird stuff as possible.
