My thoughts on the Union’s playoff game being schedule for Sunday, November 23 at 7:30pm:
Me, who has had a pass for PaxUnplugged for that weekend since May, and who has been agonizing for weeks as to having to make a decision on spending the biggest day of the con at the con or at an important soccer game:

THE AFLm will add two teams to their finals (playoff) format next year, after years of talking about it.
🆕Seeds 7-10 now need to win five straight games to win the premiership.
Seeds 5-6 still need to win four in a row.
Seeds 1-4 still need to only win three & have a 1st Rd Double Chance.

In case anyone is still wondering how bogus privatized insurance through the workplace is: my organization is about to impose a $100/mo surcharge if we include our spouse on our plan and they’re eligible for insurance through their own place of employment.
Thats a 400% increase over a solo plan.

Saw the John Oliver piece on Police Chases and am reminded of that time my friend Jenn was killed because a man, who was high, slammed into the back of her car while being chased by the police.
Turns out they were chasing the wrong guy.

Confirmed thru a friend who was amongst the supporter’s section at SeatGeek Stadium in Chicago last night that a not insignificant amount of Fire fans were yelling racial/ homophobic slurs at Andre Blake and the Union players.
The Fire put out a statement condemning this. But will there be action?
