I took that route often back when traveling during the holidays from Rensselear Polytechnic Institute (just across the river from Albany) to Long Island. Always had some nice sights in that corridor, traveling over a lot of low level water areas/marshes.

The '21 Myst remake is great, but it loses some of the original eerie/creepy/mysterious vibes
The original Masterpiece edition Cyan re-released running in scummvm runs great!
For Riven, both versions are fantastic in their own ways, which is pretty impressive. Probably 👍 the '24 version for stream

Just came here to say the same thing, only thanks to the slow mo did I notice that the true victim was the stitching on the back of Dan's jacket.

The surroundings (Troy/Albany) are whatever, but the school is great, and a nice campus. It just celebrated its bicentennial too! I enjoyed my time there.
