Even a casual observer of Scotch Whisky can't fail to notice UK Government Duty of: Three Quarters.

Eh?

If it was another Product, the Government would be accused of unrealistic, manipulative, scamming.

It's been like this, for 202 YEARS.

Wake up Scots, Scottish Independence is now ESSENTIAL!

@MrJamesOB admits that England is “a ludicrous country”.
I can say this doesn’t apply to a Scotland, as the Scottish Govt is crying out for increased immigration, and already mitigates the 2-Child Benefit Cap! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
- A 100,000 drop in net migration costs us £7bn
- Scrapping the two-child benefit cap costs us £3bn

What gets more attention?

James O’Brien says 'we have become a ludicrous country'.

Child poverty in Scotland has fallen to its lowest level in three decades, with both absolute and relative rates continuing to sit well below the UK average. For 2023–24, those rates were 22% and 17% respectively – 9% lower than the UK’s 31% and 26%

As Andrew Marr observes, public patience has finally snapped.

Why? Because they have been fed too much failed establishment politics and too much austerity for too long."

I think you’ll find that @snp.org often cite Brexit as the root of “Britain’s difficulties”.
“Difficulties” which Scotland did *not* vote for, and yet continue to be inflicted upon us, as our guests often point out on @broadcastscot.bsky.social ! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
